Mummy MOT

I am a licensed Mummy MOT® practitioner.
A Mummy MOT is a specialist postnatal examination for women following childbirth regardless of the mode of delivery. I will assess your posture, pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, any scars or wound healing and how you are generally coping with the rhythm of life following the birth of your baby. I will discuss with you how you might fit exercise back into your day in order to help you build your fitness back up and return to your favourite exercise or sport or if you have the aim of starting something new we can work out how this could be turned into reality. MY main aim is to listen to what you want so that we can work together to achieve YOUR aim.
It’s recommended that women have an initial assessment after their 6-8 week GP check, but I also treat women who gave birth years ago but still feel they have ongoing concerns or limitations.
